Irish Coldplay fan finds handwritten Chris Martin lyrics in Dublin library

The find was part of a treasure hunt set up by the band to celebrate the release of their new album.

PARA, PARA, PARADISE indeed.

One lucky Dublin fan is the proud owner of handwritten Coldplay lyrics, penned by frontman Chris Martin’s fair hand.

Colma O’Bhriain was the Irish winner of a treasure hunt created by the band to celebrate the release of their new album, Ghost Stories.

Words to all nine songs on the album were hidden inside horror-themed books in cities across the world, for one lucky fan to find and keep.

Yesterday, the band began the eighth treasure hunt in Dublin by tweeting this cryptic clue:

Eventually the handwritten lyrics were discovered by Colma at Dundrum Library in Dublin, concealed in a copy of C Funke’s Ghosthunters & The Bloodthirsty Baroness:

Other lyrics sheets have been found in Johannesburg, Mexico City, Singapore, Helsinki, Barcelona, Kent, New York and New Zealand. Read more about the treasure hunt here.
